Crafty Recycle Modge Podge

I have seen these decoupaged bottles  recently but I actually did my first one over a year ago but i wasn't blogging.  I also decided to decoupage our magazine storage boxes in our office... when I started I was using calendars I had bought and wrapping paper... Now I tear up my old Oprah magazines better to put them to use then clutter up the dump.

  7. Hey, stranger! Saw your name on my mom's blog so stopped over to see what you have been up to. LOVE the painted "granite" countertops. You did such a great job. Have they been holding up well to wear and tear?

    1. Hi Holly Hugs I didn't realize u had a blog I pop in over at http://www.hollyknot.com every once in a while and check out your pretties... can't wait to surf your blog- the recent bird shots are awesome. Funny u should ask about how it is holding up because I was thinking this morning how indestructible it is- it's still glossy like glass (remember we used marine grade verathane in I think gloss or high gloss because the giani sealer was bubbling on us even days later) anyways hasn't chipped or peeled is smooth like glass cleans like a wiz nothing has stained it or ate through it and I run my huge croc pot on it on high all the time. I don't cut directly on it though I have cutting boards and a stainless top island. I'm following your blog and put u in my blog roll.

Another thing I think Northerners are more drawn to the bussieness of the pattern I created- imo Northerners leave the most genuine comments on it about the pattern... funny thing is I was looking at pics of the interiors of the real housewives of New Jersies homes this morning and the real granite a few of them have is the very "busy" patterns - Guess I be stylin... not LOL
